Data usage

Hexfang is a public fiction and artwork website. The current experience is designed around reading and viewing, with no account required.

Reading and character exploration

Pages and images are delivered as public files. Opening a character panel happens in your browser. No character selections or reading progress are sent to a separate tracking service.

Motion and video

The decorative 3D scene runs on your device. Reduced-motion settings are respected, and motion can be paused. Opening the character film requests a video file from the site’s host. YouTube preview thumbnails load from YouTube’s image service. Selecting a preview opens the video on YouTube. These are selected videos, not an automatically updating feed. There is no camera or microphone access.

Storage and sharing

The website code uses no persistent browser storage, advertising identifiers or visitor database. It has no data-sale or advertising workflow. Hosting providers may process technical requests to deliver and protect the site, as explained in the privacy policy.

Google services

No Google OAuth connection, Google API permission, access token or Google user-data processing is implemented here. Nothing on this website authorizes access to a visitor’s YouTube, Gmail, Drive or other Google account.

Future integrations

If an account connection or publishing tool is introduced, its actual purpose, requested permissions, data use, retention, sharing and revocation process must be explained before it is offered. This page does not claim approval or verification by Google.
